We've been running our Employee of the Month awards for some time now. It's so important to recognise and appreciate the hard work of our teams throughout the UK. Everyone in the business is eligible to win the award. Often we're looking for colleagues, peers, suppliers and clients to nominate members of our team who've gone above and beyond in their daily duties. We're looking for employees who embody our values and work hard to add value to our clients each and every day.
We're delighted to announce that the employee of the month award for February goes to Luke Fearing. Based in Burton, Luke supports our valued client, Soufflet Bairds Malt. With a malting heritage dating back to 1823, Soufflet Bairds Malt is one of the United Kingdom's premier malt producers. It is a major supplier to the Scotch whisky industry and to major brewers, both domestic and international.
Working at Soufflet Bairds Malt Shobnall facility, Luke is part of a specialist industrial team responsible for timely cleaning of steeping and germination vessels. Lucas Thornton, Operations Supervisor at the Shobnall site said "We recently had an audit by one of our big customers, and Luke was essential in getting the steeps/GVs to the required standard, which contributed to a great audit. Luke has a can-do attitude and is always willing to help and work with his colleagues, both Brilliant Cleaning and Soufflet Bairds Malt."
Callum Campbell, Managing Director of Brilliant Commercial & Industrial Cleaning Group gave the award to Luke this week. He commented "Luke lives the values of the business. He understands clean, organised spaces are the best places to work and he embraces these values with his colleagues every day. The whole team work hard to provide timely cleaning, essential for operational effectiveness. Congratulations Luke, thoroughly well deserved."
